Hello

Can anyone tell me the piston/bore diameter of the clutch master cylinder from a 1987 999cc FWD UK Starlet. Having a real hard/expensive job finding one and can cross match with another if I have the size of the piston etc

Thanks

Well thanks a bunch.

Found out myself in the end.

Its 5/8ths of an inch (0.625" for the decimalised amongst you)

I've taken a 1992 (EP82) master cylinder, drilled out the studs (same pitch as the old one), reshaped (bent) the pipework a bit (lot) and fitted that one instead. Reservoir is at a bit of an angle, but there's plenty of fluid to keep it going. Butchery at its best, and no more carpet sodden with DOT4, but the 22 year old is still going (the car not me)

Hope this maybe of use to someone....
