I am sure your car will run on the stuff but don't ever expect a Toyota dealership to work on it if they know in advance :(

You can use it to run on, and garages will work on it, but you would lose any warranty you had on the vehicle engine if found out (not in your case as its an 02) My advice is not to use it on any modern high pressure system (D4D) as the tollerances in those pumps are very fine, I wouldnt want to be risking ruining one of those pumps......Very expensive to replace

Thanks for that. I have mixed some in this evening so I guess I will know shortly either way!

I take it that the Amazon isnt common rail?

Have run a D4D common rail on Bio diesel well filtered and good quality for 40,000 miles now. A1 no probs connected with fuel, only starter motor. completly dry, no leaks or diesel staining around the pump area at all.

But do be aware that on cold days starting from not quite cold will need more cranking but will start after max 10 secs of cranking.

Also watch the dip stick level well as increase in sump oil can be an early warning of bio diesel in the oil. if so change the oil and add some diesel say 10%. To winterise the fuel use 5% petrol no more than 5% though, starts easy down to 0degrees C but its not been colder yet.

If any problems with poorer quality bio occur such as missfire or holding back on hills run a tank of diesel with injector cleaner.

Tip, buy your bio in drums and leave to stand one week then filter into the car 1 micron, then your diesel filter wont clog within the 40k.

try http://www.biodieselfilters.co.uk/ for filters.

good luck.
