On my 2003 Corolla TS i got feeling its a original Battery since the original Battery terminals were real dirty & didnt look nice at all but i upgraded them to gold ones now anyway so 2003 year & car done 48k so far so is it time to change the Battery? since winter is comming up.......

No - I'd hope a Battery would last longer than that. Should last 5 years or possibly much longer.

Unless you're having particular problems, like engine only turns over slowly when starting for example, then I'd stick with the existing one, but be prepared for it to start to fail at some point in the next 2 or 3 years.

I would say a Battery should be good for around 5 years.. but it just depends on the Battery. With a new Battery you get a 3 year warranty (again dependant on what make etc) and I would personally expect 5 years average life.

Best thing to do is get it checked.. along with the rest of the charging system.. now is a good time to get a full pre-winter check carried out.

Older Toyota models, Jap built! (not that old chestnut) had batteries that regularly lasted 10 years, most models today last 5 years or so. In addition, Toyota now stock a range of batteries at excellent prices, call your dealer first if you need one, you will be pleasantly suprised

Kingo

Lifetime of your Battery depends on how you use it like everything else.

Driving around with a big stereo and such will kill your Battery faster than normal.

Heavy load = short lifetime

But, i think i changed the Battery in my E9 4 years ago or such, i think it was the original battery i replaced at that time.

It was jap-built of course ;) My E9 is from 91... Had driving 230.000km
