Engine Cough

Ive just put a new filter,bosch super fours,lift screws and fresh oil in my 52plate tsport but when at idle it seems to run at 900rpm for a minute then cough via the inlet almost sounds like a miss fire but not if you catch my drift but when i drive it seems fine and pulls okish no engine lights have come on so it cant be that serious any ideas what it could be ????????

i dont know what the super fours are should have checked before the ones i replaced were rusty around the end near te=he bolt so thought they were fu**ed looks as tho iam going to have to replace or check them
