Does anyone know how much fuel is in the tank when the low fuel warning light comes on?

i use to work on 20 mile when the light came on didn dare go any further

normally £5-£10's worth but being the large tank thats on the celica I would say about £10

Working in the motor trade, every salesmans car you ever get into is running on the red light!!!

You will have AT LEAST 10 litres left in it when the light just comes on, plenty of time to get it fuelled

Thanks everyone, it's roughly what I assumed. It's just that every time I get in the car, the fuel light is on.

Must show the missus where the tank flap release is!

Fuel seems to last longer in the 190, or is it because it's driven slower because of the 18" alloys. :D (B roads in south Wales are no smoother than third world dirt tracks!)
