How about something like this;

You basically buy the replacement headrest with an LCD screen built in and wire it up to whatever you want. I can't vouch for the quality but there are a few to choose from on e-bay (or search for 'headrest LCD' on Google). I have been thinking about doing a similar thing.

Folks

I would be very wary of swapping out headrest for anything other than type approved replacements.

If you were involved in an accident, the insurance company may duck out from covering any personal injury should they be fitted.

Just my 10p worth!

As an aside, Ford Fiesta (later model) solid headrest fit ok, and are a fairly easy mod to build in a screen.

Alternatives are roof mount, or get the original Toyota ones recovered to loose the center hole.
