Hello and welcome to the club

Well what can i say. Toyota sell this product and claims that it keeps the car looking shiny and you will never have to polish the car for 5 years lol. Nope basically it's a way of getting extra cash out of you. You would be better off buying yourself some good quality car polish like Meguiars gold polish or auto glym supreme. These are two excellent brands of polish which if you use regularly will make your car looking shiny and help protect it too. Basically if you want your car to keep looking good this means you will have to regularly polish your car to maintain it's shine and continue to bead water.

But on a good point the supaguard is very good on the interior i knocked a can of coke over on my seat and it just repelled it cool. Hope that this helps.

This was done to my car before I bought it and I don't think it's much good on the paint.

They said it would help to clean off dead flies and bird cr@p but it's still hard work ;)

I did however fill in some documentation at the dealers to register the car for the 5-year cover so it may be worth asking about that.

My car was supagaurded when it was first registered. When my sister bought it 4 years later, it was supagaurded again by mistake as the dealer never checked all the documentation properly. So my cars been supagaurded twice inside and out. Personally i think it was a complete waste of time and money, but it was done free for my sister.

It's supposed to have anti-static properties and stops dust buildup on the black dashboard and interior, but i get dust within seconds of cleaning everything, so supagaurd does nothing at all. As for the outside i hand wash and jet wash it every weekend so it shines nicely, but thats after 3 hours of solid work, if supagaurd really worked it would halve the time needed or maybe even 1hour to do the same.

Armz.

We picked up out new metallic black Verso in June. I spent the first weekend cleaning, polishing and waxing with Duragloss.

This went on in four parts - pre-cleaner, bonding agent, polish and then wax. It seemed to take forever but not only were the results fantastic, everytime I wash the car the metallic seems to get deeper.

It gets washed once a month with duragloss and no bugs or flies have stuck to the car all summer. Brilliant.

Now if I could only polish out the dent in the back door caused by some muppet who doesn't give a s**t about other peoples property.
