Hiya people, how are you all?

I have a little prblem with my 51plate TS, it is experiencing a small 'flat' area during acceleration, usually between 5 & 15 mph. I had this problem last year and the plugs were change resulting in no probs :-)

My mechanic is away at the moment so i was wondering if this is a relatively easy job to do myself, i have done this before, many years ago on my 1st car, a mk2 escort!. I realise there is a big difference between the cars so i thought i would check here.

Thanx in advance for any advice offered

 :D

yea its realy easy. if you have the right tools

you need to remove the engine cover

unbolt the coil packs from the block

pull them out

pop the tool down and take them out

put new ones in, be careful not to cross thread them. tighten by hand not by like the ratchet because it has no feeling.

make sure the coil packs go back in their correct position. i would do one at a time to make sure you know where everything goes.

tighten them back up

pop the engine cover back on.

That should be your problem sorted.
