Avensis 02 Rear Suspension Noise

hi all

i have an old shape 02 avensis which has done 72000 miles

there is a strange rattling sound coming from the rear when i go over an uneven road or hit a bump

i have taken it to toyota leicester but the will not acknowledge that there is a problem

the mechanic can hear it but he does not know what it is

does anyone have any ideas and is there someone at toyotagb i could write to?

Try another garage. It doesn't have to be Toyota. If there's a problem there's a good chance that a decent mechanic will be able to diagnose it.

Just make sure there isn't any loose bits in the spare wheel area rolling about causing the noise. I have been there !
