Yaris Tsport

hey up all, just a quick question, would the yaris tsport keep up with or give the corolla a run for its money?

Thing is if i knew it could then would have baught one instead of my corolla 2 days ago, maybe saving a bit of money in the price difference between the two.

I aint trying to start a car vs car thread just would like to know if i have rushed into buying the rolla.

in a word nope, my gf has a yaris t sport and round twisty stuff the yaris is by far the better handling car. i guess cos it has a wheel in practically each corner. however if you bury the throttle on the corolla it can't keep up.

got that right but my mate had a yaris t sport as a hire car said was great fun to drive but it just ain got the lift that the corolla has. incidentally i believe that the yaris sr hastaken over the yaris tsport.... is it true they putting a 1.8 engine in it

My previous car was a yaris t sport and I've got a corolla t sport now, had it for 2 weeks tomorrow.

They are 2 different cars.....................

That 1.5 liter turbo yaris is as fast as cts. Even that the papers say that yaris would be faster in 0-60mph (7,4s ??), but they go side by side if you test that. Same thing with celica ts and corolla. Or that's what i've been heard and readed from other forums ^_^

My friend just got chipped his yaris turbo, and i won't probably keep up anymore...

The new Yaris SR does indeed have a 1.8 engine but it has similar performance to the 1.5 T-Sport. It will not keep up with a Corolla T-Sport.

I will chip it.. next summer. It probably would give about 10bhp, pretty pointless.

For Yaris turbo it gives about 40bhp. That's the reason i won't chip it right away.. I have more important things to do first, than gain that 10bhp :)
