4.3 - Cd/mp3 Player

About to get 4.3 XT5 (Carbon Quartz) on Friday :P :D and am wondering what format CDs the CD player will read.

We have a huge number of tracks that are saved on the PC as MPEG4 that have been saved for IPOD use.

Will the XT5 CD player play this format or will I need to convert them all to MP3 before burning a CD.

If so, is there an easy way of doing this please?

The simple answer is no! :D

The main problem with MPEG4, is that hardly anything (outside of Apple products) will play it :(

You'll need to convert all your files to MP3 or WMA, itunes does have a facility to do this, but I found RealPlayer to be better. Also, RealPlayer converts to 192kbps as standard.

Or, if you've got about £150 to burn you could have one of these installed :D

I've made a start but I can see that this converting/ripping/burning/ pillaging etc will take time

As long as I have one CD to play after picking car up on Friday!

Wife has the Ipod - I only get told to put what tracks on it!
