hi just to let anybody no who wants to no that we took are verso 07 plate into main dealers to have a look at brakes as they would squek some times a made a lot of dust and they are telling me that are verso has bin recalled dew to the fact that the brakes are faulty.they have told me that they have to replace the hole brake system and they have to have the car for 2 days please let me no is any one else has bin contacted or had the same problem thanks ryan

No I have not heard about any recall perhaps its a very recent one? I have had a look at the VOSA website nothing is mentioned about this recall

hi might just be mine then he said to me that he has just had a email about it that was on friday when we took the car in some thing about to much of some thing in the brakes i will try and find out more info cheers

This isnt a recall.

The problem is that some AVENSIS,VERSO and AURIS have brake pads fitted with too much metal particle % in the material.

This in turn scores the brake discs and makes the sqealing/grinding noise.

The bulletin is to fit new discs and pads if the car comes in with grooved discs under warranty.

Done quite a few at work the last couple of months.

Oh, i dont see why they needed the car for any longer than a day to do the work. Should only be a couple of hours tops (unless they needed to VOR the parts as they didnt have the stock?)
