Bore Size

Hi guys and girls,

Anyone know the bore size of the 'standard' exhaust for a gt4 st205? The downpipe too please.

IIRC it's only about 2 inches if not 2 1/4 inches, definately no bigger. the exit of the down pipe would be the same as the rest of the system.

shooting in the dark here but i'm guessing your sizing it up for an aftermarket one? if so don't have a full 3 inch system as boost creep will be a nightmare, unless you fit a 2 1/2 plate in place into the system near the down pipe end to stem the creep

Theres a part of the flexi section where it goes over the subframe at the front which looks even smaller than 2 inch, its tiny!

Hyper SR do both a 2.5" downpipe and 2.5" Flexi if that helps

Actually currently has what looks like a 3" full SS exhaust. Not 100% as it's recent import. May not go down to well but actually looking to downsize, something a little more like the standard only in stainless steel.

Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of noise from an exhaust but there's a limit. The Japanese bloke before me must have had hearing difficulty.
