Bit of a newbie but thought id fill you in on the goss...

Picked up my new car on Saturday, Still learning at the moment but got the test booked!! Not a bad purchase for a first car i think!! :D

She's a lovely '02 plate Yaris... T-Sport in Thunder Grey...

A few chips here and there but nothing a touch up cant solve!!

Not got many plans for it as it has already been lowered 35mm which dropped it quite a bit and has a HKS backbox on it (I think lol...)

Any suggestions on what goes nice well on the TSports would be great, Im not really into the whole Body Kit looks just want to keep everything looking sweet and subtle!!

Here she is...Looking lovely on the Motorway..and no its not me driving (before you ask) its the bloke as i am lacking the Full UK License!!

Loves it!!!!! :P ;)

Your T Sport looks great

Out of interest, how much will your insurance be? A lot of members on here (new drivers) are out priced for a T Sport. Just wondering what your quotes are like?

Lovely looking car, congratulations on the purchase. Take it easy though, that's a pretty quick 1st car so don't go damaging yourself & it with inexperience

Oh, & welcome to TOC

Thanks for that hun, :)

It wasnt that bad to be quite honest; I have declared the lowering 35mm and also the backbox and the total of the insurance was £1185.

I thought that was quite good as im only 19 and it also includes breakdown cover (god forbid i should breakdown but always handy to have!!)

My mum is also on the policy but is the second driver...(It wasnt that much more without her on it, was like 200£ more)

That was with Admiral...I was going to go with Elephant but they were slightly more expensive with all the mods on it!!

looks awesome. i think it looks good as it is really. maybe you could change the rear lights or get both the reverse and fog light in red or again both in clear. So many things you can do depends what you are willing to spend.

Oh and again do you know what springs are on your car???or has the car got people in the back as it does look low for 35mm

What a great first car you lucky devil!

As for the breakdown cover, I very much doubt you'll need it! These little cars are virtually bullit proof!!

I got breakdown cover from Listers, who I bought the car from.

I got my insurance from RAC for £740 with 2 Years NCB's, aged 20 with an SP30. How can you get such a cheap quote at your age? So unfair! I went on NU's pay as you drive scheme as I couldn't afford the £2k quotes I was getting on an M Reg Escort Finesse.

PS. Yari, famous last words! They're bullet proof yes, but everything mechanical has a chance of breaking.

Yeah i bought it from a bloke in Wales, He was really nice and looked like he'd looked after it well...

As for the lowering springs the previous owner had that done so im not sure but i can find out...And no there isnt anyone in the back ;) lol

I love it just a pain in the ***** that i have to sit there looking at it on my drive :'( Ah well...
