How Does The Mp3 Player Work?

Recommended Posts

Posted

I pick up my new Auris t180 on friday and silly as it seems I have no brochure. I was wondering how the mp3 player works, and, assuming that I need to write an mp3 cd to play on the system. Want to have all my good music with me when I pick it up

Can anyone help please?

You're exactly right, just assemble a data CD with MP3 or WMA files (tracks) and you'll be well away. You can also put files in to folders to represent albums and generally organise as required. Tracks/folders are played in Numerical-Alphabetical order. So when you RIP a CD it's advisable to get the ripping software to insert a track number in the file name to keep things in order.

Personally I create my MP3 disks with Nero, and have used that method for my previous Ford Focus MP3 player, and also my current T180.

I have used Nero for WMA and no problems , more albums on a disc than MP3.
