hey up all, ive been driving the tsport a few days now and i love the lift especially in 1st and 2nd gear when it pushes you back in your seat slightly.

Was just wondering as when i come into lift in 3rd and 4th etc it doesnt feel as strong as it is in 1st and 2nd.

Now is this just me or is it the same with everyone else ?

cheers ! daz

That's because 3rd and 4th are higher gears than 1st and 2nd.

It's quite technical but basically engine torque gets multiplied by the gearbox. And it gets multiplied more in lower gears, which is why lower gears give better acceleration.
