I'm interested in getting a corolla GTi.

Just need a little advise

What is the best year to get

Where can i find more information

What can i do to it to make it go even quicker.

I don't know much about mods on them

But the better cars are the last ones 91-92

They have just slightly more bhp than pre 90 models,I think it was 129bhp standard on the late models

yup go for a 1990 1991 model that comes with the 4age non-tvis engine, add to this a 2" or 48mm ID exhuast for maximum benefit from a normally aspirated engine, bung on a high flow (K&N) induction kit and vent some cool air to it as the manifold runs extremely hot under the bonnet.

If you go 2.5" exhaust(like mine) expect some drone at motorway speeds, this dissappears at about 80mph though.

Stick with full stainless for better heat dissipation and try and get some 4-1 tuned length headers if you rev your engine high (6500+) as these will give you more mid to top end torque than the cast 4-2-1 but even these flow really well :)
