I have a blue and have not noticed a wind whistle, crank up the volume on the stereo :driving: :D

I've noticed the same whistle, but it's not often.

I'm currently looking for self-adhesive door seals, because the Aygo Manual suggests that most of the wind noise (at motorway speeds) is generated in the gaps between the doors & car body.

I've already put an additional seal to fill the relatively large gap between the front of the bonnet and the bumper

Thanks, guys ;)

This is a well known Yaris problem as well, although I never had it on either of mine.

What Adilmon suggested should sort it out a treat

On our Yaris Blue, on the wing mirror there is a bit which holds the wing mirror onto the body of the car and there was a gap between this and the body of the wing mirror itself, we got some draft excluder from B & Q and inserted it into the gap - whistle now gone.

I don't think I have any photo's of it at the mo & I'm at work so can't get any now....it was a really high pitched whistle too, it bugged me so much even with music on.

If anyone does want me to get a pic soon then let me know - it may or may not be the solution to your problem, but it might be a bit of advice!

I was told by Toyota that the missing seal between the bonnet and bumper on the drivers side of the car was to allow air into the air filter inlet situated there and should not be blocked.

That's a very good point. I have the diesel aygo and the air inlet is on the other side of the engine bay, in front of the Battery, almost behind the radiator

Any suggestions or experience of how to reduce tyre noise (road drumming)?

Hi, picked up new pupil today and he's a tech in the workshop, so i get to ask him loads of questions about various toyotas.

Apparently, some aygos have a wind whistle and some dont, caused by a small hole in the housing and the solution is a new mirror that i will be getting soon (fingers crossed). He says that aygos are generally good, the boot release can stick (common) and the reason the bite point is high (bugging me) is the clutch is a cable one.

I can ask any questions if you guys have something on your mind...
