Aygo Blue ROCKSSSS!!!! :P

WE all know we drive the best car on market  Duh!!! thats why we are on the forum and its only a matter of time before the rest of the world cottons on and catches up,

, intead of trying to work out the mpg. try this one ,no maths required (so you put your fingers away and shoes back on)

fill your tank rightup reset the trip and count the distance it takes to lose the 1st bar on the fuel guage

My results so far .

1st tank 65miles

2nd tank 75miles

latest tank 95miles and holding

Best score yet 129miles a trip from brum to porthmadog (Rush hour motorways , Welsh A roads and maybe slipsteaming the odd milkfloat ;) )

Not had such a fun car since my VeeDub BUG. an this ones got aircon!!

Keep in mind that it appears to do more mileage when its full then less mileage as the gauge goes down.

This is due to the shape of the fuel tank.

In fact, the economy is the same... full to empty

hey not bad, last couple of tanks (1 1/2 tanks a week!) first bar goes out about 107 miles

I can get to 140 miles before the 1st bar goes off. Thats city and motorway driving

I've done about 20K miles so the engine has 'bedded in' which helps alot.

It was much less when I first got my Aygo

Today, I've made the math again.

I have 7,35 liters at 100km. (Now you do the math to traslate the measures).

I can run with only one bar around 130-140km I think. The first bar keeps a lot longer than the rest of the bars.

Due to the above...

182 miles, but it's a diesel

My first bar always goes between 70-80 miles. Used to be better.

I just wish they could make a high class edition of the Aygo, with all the gadgets that the bigger cars have and not built to a budget.

Is that not already out and called an Avensis?

but it would loose its character if you middleclassemanagement pimped it ..although i wouldnt say no to an extra .4 of an engine, and the next person that calls mine a rollerskate is gonna sorely discover that its not

Wow your chariot is mighty thirsty !! On a recent trip from Llandudno all the way to Fishguard in Pembroke totalling 143miles there and after a bit of sightseeing 298miles back that first bar on my diesel took 209 miles to move.

Also on brimming the tank last June i drove to Cardiff along the A470 travelling 187.4 miles to see my relatives.I refilled the tank to overflowing at a cost of then £9.23p which with calculations worked out at just under 90mpg.Try that in a petrol Aygo NO CHANCE.
