Just finished painting my front Calipers red. Did them still on the car with a very fine hog hair brush I brough from the local artist supply shop this morning. I used the Foliatec stuff to paint them... just hope i cleaned them well enough first. Will soon know if it all starts flaking off in a weeks time :-)

Very nice... wish I'd thought of the brake dust guards too...oh well. I see you went for the same cheapo Axel stands from Halfords as me by the looks of it :) woo!

Yep cheapo halford stands! I also have a red trolley jack from them which looks similar to yours!

Never lift my car without them!

Did the rear calipers today too, and noticed something a little bit odd on the nearside rear. If I turned the wheel hub by holding the wheel studs, they move back and forth a bit while everything else stays still obviously until they hit the edge of the holes through the parking brake drum, hopefully the pic explains better. Whats that all about? It didn't do it on the other side.

No big deal, the brake shoes just need adjusting on that side. Just prise out the rubber bung, it's betwee the two studs on the left of that photo, and using a small flathead screwdriver, turn the toothed adjuster 'till the brake shoes are just rubbing the drum slightly.

Done my calipers last week too! :P
