Victim Of Fraud

just recived a letter from my bank asking if a transaction of £1500 was genuine or not . to my supprise i checked my account to find more had been taken for easyjet :censor: WTF :o so got on the phone a blocked all my cards. and i have to ring the fraud squad and see if i can get my money back. :censor:

just rung easyjet to find out more and told them whats happend but they could'nt do owt, not even cancil the tickets and refund. have to wait till monday for the fraud squad

badboyts, the bank should sort this out for you.

Someone managed to fraudulently run up 3 or 4 grand on my credit card a year or so ago. Needless to say I was quite worried that I was going to have to pay for it all, but the bank took care of it all. I don't know if they got the !Removed!, but I got the money credited back to my bank fairly quickly.

Some of the stuff they'd purchased was crazy, including a driving test; I mean surely when you turn up for the test, you have to provide proof of ID, in which case it should be easy to trace who they really were.

its doing my head in woundering where they might of got the detailes from. hope they sort it. got flight detailes and stuff of easyjet so could it help towards a conviction.

Just like other's have said, sure your Bank / Card company will sort this out for you.
