Earth Grounding Kits

Ello,

Just been told about these kits and apparently the benefits are unreal for the time, effort and money. Also, they are easy to make if you don't want to spend extra.

The kits upgrade your normal grounding to much more chunky cables, which leads to your headlights been brighter, quicker startings, more power, better audio and smoother idling.

Anyone had any experience with these kits? Or know any more about them? Seems to me it’s a thing worth doing.

I did not think that the standard Yaris suffered from any earthing problems.

What is the cost of these earthing kits?

Erm, about £50 if you'd be buying a pre-made kit, but they are ment to be way cheaper if you build them yourself.

The theory for them is that the wider cables you have, the better the electrical current flows, since the cable has a larger diameter.

In all seriousness, do they actually have the benefits or is it a bit of a mind thing?? Surely a good earth is a good earth, regardless of the cabling?

I've found this site, containing a blog of someone making their own, he explains how to make grounding kits, and tells you what it done for him.

I also found out HKS do their own kits, but at a high cost. I'm sure they'll help, that’s why I was thinking of having a go at it. I was just seeing if anyone on here has had any experience with them before.

If they were that good and beneficial I would have thought that the manufactures would have thicker earthing cables as standard?

I still smell a rat so I think my money will stay firmly in my pocket. Sounds like the Placebo Effect!
