To be honest mate the boot on the wee Yaris is so small you will struggle to fit any pram in the there! My littlen is now just turning 3 soon so we don't have much call for the use of the buggy anymore but when she was smaller, we used to strap her in and put it down behind the front seats.

Don't get me wrong it would fit, but once it was in, you couldn't really get much else in there!! The 2 rear suspension mounts in the boot help a little too. The wheels would be pushed into one of the corners and you could rest the handles on here.

I'm looking at a silver cross or a mama's and papa's P3 anyone know if it'll fit ?

Always could put it behind the front seats i suppose or fold the single rear seat ?

  • 4 months later...

Apologies for bumping an old topic but one that will always be relevant. I am looking to see if this is suitable car for my wife if we was to have a new born.

I presume putting the baby seat in the back and the pram in the front has not been ideal? We need room for shopping and at least one passenger.

jrampton what car did you choose in the end?

I got my Yaris when my daughter was about 10months, back then I had a Mclaren Techno buggy and that fitted in the boot, admittedly had to be creative but it did fit.

However the rear seats do slide forward, so you can make the boot bigger (am assuming they still do on the newer models).

Good news. I am wondering how child friendly it would be compared to the cheaper Aygo or other jap motors.

We are wondering this too. Change our car? We don't want to give our Yaris away for a bigger one.

Anyone found any information yet?
