Suspension Bushes

Well after a traumatic weekend watching England getting beaten at the rugby (teehee?) and lewis hamilton losing out on the F1 (shame); I had to travel down to Stranraer - a trip of some 80 miles of picturesque roads.

Unfortunately my RAV is showing signs of rear suspension bush wear (again). Today been spent searching out suppliers of polybushes - not much luck.

Oh and I changed out my main computer at the weekend and of course have a host of stuff left on the old one......

Anyway this new one will allow me to build websites with videos etc of various things...

Anyone know of anywhere that does polybushes for a '94 RAV??

Failing that, it'll be Parts-King for a new set of Mr T's which might last a few months..

I haven't tried New Zealand yet altho polybush themselves helpfully said they would try to match up the shape/dimensions of those I need.

And finally today, ma bearded collie (Spencer) was 'put down'. Cancer was high on the list of poss illness and at the age of 14 we felt it was not going to be much of a quality of life for him.

Deaf, blind and becoming mute; he was fast catching up with my condition. :( :( :( :( :( :(

My old girl is 14 and had her MOT yesterday, apart from being deaf (I'm not sure if it's selective, she knows when I'm getting food out, lol) she also put on a few pounds (dont we all?) ooh and I forgot, fleas! but aprts from that shes great :offtopic:

Anyway, back on thread, PM me if you need bush prices, I need the money, Vet fees yesterday and 14 Maleria pills from the quacks tonight has cost me £42 squids :eek::eek::eek: and you think Toyota parts are dear? :lol:

Bothy

Sorry to hear about your dog mate. I can't have one because when that stage of the game comes up I'm too soft and couldn't handle it.

This is one of the best independant motor factor groups in the country and they only exist north of the border;

http://www.dingbro.com/default.asp?division=163391

It shows up as trade only but if you go in they will probably help you. There is a new one in your neck of the woods so its worth giving them a ring. If they have got the parts and won't let you have them they will tell you which garages in your area have an account so you can order via them.

Good luck

PS Maybe you could get parts off them under the club name? Normally I would buy from Toyota but if you are not that confident in that particular part then give Dingbro a call.

As to your bushes, try the USA eBay, http://www.ebay.com/ them seem to have more unusual parts up for sale.
