Camber Alignment

Hi all... was gonna hi-jack another thread with this, but in the end decided to start a new'un. I spoke to my local Mr T t'other day to arrange fitting of my TTE springs. I enquired about their alignment and tracking (which costs a staggering £120) and mentioned to the guy about needing the camber adjusted (as someone on here had advised me).

Now this Toyota guy is a nice bloke, but I think he's one of those people who if he doesn't know something he just makes things up so he sounds like he does...also he admitted to me that he spent 15 yrs working for Vauxhall (eek!) and has only been with Toyota for a year.

He reckoned that because the springs are genuine Toyota parts that the camber will not need adjusted, despite the fact I also told him I'd be fitting after market OZ 17" wheels on 205/45/17 rubber.

Now, is this guy talking out of his a$$ hat or is he right?

When I had my TTE springs fitted by my local garage (not Mr T, but a good garage that know their stuff) they advised me to just get the tracking done.

I have the optional Toyota six spoke seventeens too so I wouldn't think putting the OZ wheels would be a problem.
