Tyres In The Wet !

Hi all

Just been out in the rain probably for the first time since I bought the rav, and found the back end very skitish. The tyres on the back are I think a budget brand called Enduro HT Runway, anyone got these and had the same trouble ? They were probably put on the Rav to be sold is my opinion.

I've not heard of them and the RAVs that I have had dealings with have been good at road holding. Before you condemn the tyres though, are the pressures OK and are you confident with the shockers (is it OK in the dry)?

I'm sure most members will agree that the RAV4 as a rule handle very well in all conditions, my gut feeling is the tyres are an inexpensive range and may not be up to the job....well that or your shock absorbers are worn out.

I did to a quick search for Enduro HT Runway tyres, they seems to be budgets tyres ,so could well be your problem....sorry :)

Thanks for the comments, shocks seem fine, only done 40K and the Rav handles great in the dry. Time to dig deep me thinks :(
