Hi, I've just bought a mint 1985 Corolla Twenty special edition celebrating 20years of TOYOTA GB. Cool its got a little plaque in the centre console and an electric sunroof! No power steering or central locking or even electric windows, but the interior's nice! :D

Anyways, I've never seen one before, has anybody else? Its just standard EE80 with the 1295cc 2e engine and liftback body.

Also It has a twin choke carb with a weird airbox anybody know what the carb model is? Would a pancake filter suit this carb or is their a reason for the weird air box? :huh:

Carburettor was 'Aisin' I think ;)

If you put a pancake filter on you will have 'icing up' of the carburettor in winter (stalling at junctions etc.).

Nice to see motors like this still about.
