Tns 600 And Ipod?

Hi there, Poolie the newbie here!!

I have just taken delivery of a Hilux Invincible which comes with the TNS600 as standard. What I am trying to find out, without much luck :( , is there a way of connecting my iPod to the unit i.e hard wired?? At present i am using a belkin FM transmitter but the sound quality sucks. Any advice would be appreciated - even if it is to say "nope" - so that i can cease trawling the internet for an answer!!

Hi, i'm surprised no one has replied to your post yet. I have got a '57 Hilux HL3 3.0 auto/leather/tns 600 sat nav and one thing that stereo is missing is an ipod/aux input!!

So likewise I have been trawling the net for an ipod link kit, so far I have found this, but haven't yet ordered one, my dutch is dreadful anyway, not even sure how much it is in sterling.

If you make contact with them, I would be interested to know how you get on. Unsurprisingly, the main dealership/parts desk in Slough were useless/unhelpful/uninterested!!

Hey poolie,

Maybe you should move your post to the relevent section, ie., Hilux - perhaps you will get more replies from fellow Hilux drivers.

This section caters for those Prius Hybrid tree-hugging type - sorry guys, no offence, I used to commute into central London as well!!
