Had new RAV XTR for a week now and really enjoying it. Mph is great and is a good tower,only thing it really needs now are mud flaps to stop dirt etc.Is the a universal mud flap on market ie. Halfords and can they be fitted without taking off wheels. Any suggestions i would appreciate.

Why buy a universal mudflap?

The genuine mudflaps are £22.34 per pair, and are designed to fit properly, discounts for TOC members who register on our website

Let me know if you would like a set

Glad you are enjoying your XTR :thumbsup:

I had Toyota mudflaps fitted to my RAV by the local Toyota dealer and they're great :yahoo:

The dealer did a good neat job and they fit perfectly.

Can't remember exactly how much the fitted price was but it wasn't expensive.

In my opinion, don't spoil the Ship for a penny of tar. They are much better made and fit better then anything you can buy in Hal-fraud's.

The wheel arches are pretty well flush so you will have trouble fitting cr@ppy halfraud bits. First sign of snow and they will be off and probably damage the paint in the bargain. You'll be trying to fit Honda flaps and painting them pink next :P

Fitting the proper ones is a sinch;

Partsking, I'm unable to PM you for some reason - but can you give me a price for mudflaps and boot net for an XTR? I can collect from Queensferry any weekend.

Leigh, welcome to the nut house :wacko:

Thanks Dave. I suppose I should introduce myself. I'm Lee, I bought a new XTR on Monday - Black 2.2D, and I'm extremely pleased with it. Last car was a 2.0L 206CC, which the wife has now inherited. I travel between London and Manchester each week, so it'll be doing a lot of miles, but I'm looking forward to enjoying the legendary Toyota reliability (which cant possibly be worse than Peugeot!!). I've been lurking for a while, and this seems like a friendly place to be.
