Yaris Cd Player

I bought a CD player for my girl friends Yaris off eBay but it didnt really fit sticks out too far.

Are all the CD Players themselves the same & its just the dash coverings that are different!? as its nearly a good fit so looks like it has comeout of some form of Yaris

Her's is a 1litre GS Model on a v reg!

Ok looks like I bought a phase 2 cd player & I have a phase 1 car! :(

The cd player all works fine just dont fit in there nice!

The p2's had different buttons and stuff. More squared then the p1's. Sounds like they also had minor diffs with the frame shape too, unless you fitted it wrong. The later car had many minor mods so it is always a good idea to check with Toyota if the new bits will go on the older car.
