Central Locking Upgrade!

Hey, i bought a remote central locking upgrade to fit to my mates 1996 corolla.... its got central locking but isnt remote.

hes had a quote from an autoelectrician of 85 quid to fit the kit

i was just wondering how hard/easy it would be to fit and where to start looking first?? ive fitted a full kit to my pug 106 but im not really sure where to start with this one

any help/advice welcome! thanks in advance!!! :)

I recently fitted an aftermarket remote c/l to a 99 Corolla. It`s easy enough if you know which wires connect to which :D

The wires you need (if 96 model is the same as 99) are located in the drivers footwell. You need to remove the side trim panel and the panel under the small change holder. (that`s what I use mine for anyway!)

I can`t remember exactly which wire was which but I seem to remember them being labelled. Do a google search on wiring diagrams.
