Camshaft Timing

Hi All

I have gen 6 celica and 1.8 7A-FE.I have problem with camshaft timing..Does someone know detailed instructions about timing on that motor,is there some catch or what.

should be pretty simple on an FE as it runs a single pulley doesnt it? Unless you've had the cams out of course........

IIRC on the 5E-FHE there are notches in the cam gears which allow you to line them up- would imagine the 7A would have a similar setup

Yes I pulled cams out, but i'm confused with service manual instructions. It has installation mark and timing mark but i can't see difference, it alwys line up whichever mark I choose for installation.
