Timing Belt

I need to replace the timing belt on my Toyota Avensis D4D 2003. I've had a quote of £190 from the nationwide autocentre, and £265 from a local garage. Any ideas what should consitute a good price? And is there any reason why I should choose a more expensive garage over a cheaper one?

Also, I've currently done 62,000 miles, how worried should I be about still driving it for the time being past the 60,000 miles mark, until I find a decent garage to get the belt changed that is?

Im not positive on this but i think we charge around 3 hours labour for a belt on a diesel avensis at work.

You will be fine using the car for a few more 1000 miles with the original belt on.

Mart.
