I have recently bought a 2003 Corolla Verso, which has SAT NAV that doesn't work. I think the box under the seat which takes the DVD is broken, although I do not have the DVD to try either, does anyone know where ( other than Toyota £1000 )I can get one from, it is model no. 86841-13020 (Toyota inform me that only this model no. will work). I have tried eBay, but only the DVD's appear on there, and the occasional unit but not the same model.

Hi Berniecon,

I've just signed in in the Toyota Member Club. My brand new model 2007 Toyota Corolla Verso D-Cat 177BHp is planned to be delivered in the second week 2008. I'm waiting almost 5 months  and can't wait to "start my Toyota Engine" :D . I'm looking on Internet sites for everything related to my new car and also found the Toyota Owners Club.

Now I have some problem with my Navi of my current car (Zafira Diesel with Siemens NCDR 1100) and was surfing (ofcourse) on the net.

I'm a Dutchman and living in the south of the Netherlands and there is a company that repairs any navi systems, also OEM equiped in your Verso.

Look at this site

www.alfaelectronics.nl

info@alfaelectronics.nl

Your mentioned 1000 Pound is indeed an "normal" price for (almost) every Car dealer.

Alfa Electronics fixes a Navi for about € 150 til € 250,- and a quote before they start to repair it.

Maybe they have a related company in the UK and they can help you. Maybe you can send the unit to them and they fix it for you.

I hope you have some result,

regards

Jos

HI Jos, Thanks for your reply. I have found a company in England that repairs them too. I am just waiting to hear if they will be able to repair my system. If not, I will bring it to the Netherlands in the summer as we come on holiday in your country most years. Thanks very much for your help.

Bernie.
