I too saw a 07 lotus last week in Red near Middlesex. Looked way nicer than the older models.

they've really updated it very nicely. Didn't get to see the engine though as i was driving past.

borodaz: Did you get to take any pics of the engine area?

was at night i couldnt even take a pic of the car itself my smasung phone is rubbish at night. if only i had a spare £40000 :)

the lad who owns it said it gets to 120 as fast as his last car (type r) gets to 100. i didnt know the lad it was a friend of a friend or i would have been sat in it :)

I think it would be alot faster than that. Lotus 0-60 is around the 4sec region, CTR is 6.5+ seconds. The lotus is very light indeed. I would think the lotus would be at 130 by the time the CTR gets to 90 or maybe less?

Also depends if in a straight line or not, but the lotus is an awesome piece of engineering offers excellent handling, perfect weight distribution and comes with our beloved VVTL-I block. Gorgeous car, not ideal if you have a family though. Very little space for storing shopping/bags etc.. I'd buy one strictly for weekend and fun use. Not as an everyday car as it's not practical enough.

lotus exige s 07 model

one word ....... WOW

hows things man. . i read your comment on having a run with the type r civic and theres only 1 way to beat them. off the mark . i used to own a 1.6 20 valve levin highly moded and i was chewing all type rs [96 /02] up off the line but i hadent a hope on a rolling start at 40mph. hodas dont have much power till they hit v tec and thats were the toyota has them. not much can be done about this but the most effective and handiest mods to improve power in the toyotas are 1. high performance plugs and leads 2. D cat pipe which is a good one 3. any possible way to get cooler air quicker into the inlet manifold. hope it helps . hate to see a toyota beaten by a honda. good luck
