Centre Console Controls

Hi all.

I have just purchased a 1995 Toyota Celica 2.0 GT.

On the centre console there are 2 buttons by the heater controls at the bottom but the covers are missing and do not know what they are for.

Please could anyone help and tell me what they are for...
