Replacement Filter Panel Or Induction?

iv heard a few stories about induction kits and panels, alot of my friends are saying panels will not do anything more than your standard panel. but also iv read that induction kits are only good for higher litre cars 1.6 and so on, wont make much use to any litres lower that 1.6.

i need some options, iv found a K&N replacement filter, but not yet a induction kit which K&N said they will be releasing soon for the auris.

K&N replacement filter had a minimum or no changes in car performance. I have one, and if it changes anything its so minimal that isn't noticed.
