Wheel Sizes

Hi all. I want to pick your brains on wheels sizes for my corolla g6. I want to purchase some alloys but i dont know which is the correct offset? I was told at my local alloy warehouse that a 98 corolla is et47 but I checked on alloyguide.co.uk and it says et38? The wheels I want are aerospeed rsgt's and they have an offset of 42. Will this matter ? What do u think?

hiya. i dont know if this will be much help for u but seeing as ur local, nip into wheelworld in daybrook, nottingham and speak to the staff in there. they know practically everything about wheels and i'm sure they will be able to help. if u want their number pm me and i'll send u it!!

Thanks for the info im actually in mansfield and I went into wheelworx and they gave me a frown when I said my offset was 38 ! They also want nearly £620 for the wheels I want, eBay here I come !
