I may not have been paying attention for much of the show, but at the end Jezza quite clearly said the car had won. Whilst I wouldn't normally pay much attention to him, the other two backed him up on this, and I don't think they'd lie about something like that, would they. ;) And the Stig didn't exactly contradict them, so public transport must be rubbish.

Yeah, The Stig should get that much airtime on every show, it was great. Made up that the car won as well, shame to hear about Clarkson's boat exploding killing him & Hammond's unfortunate head-stuck-in-railings incident though

Completely agree about the Stig; the best bit was watching the expressions on the faces of the other travellers.

Many seemed not to even notice him, and those that did were casting sideways glances as if they weren't sure what to make of it.
