Before Buying D4d 2001 What To Check

Hi. Im new here, but always was reading your posts.

So, now i nedd your help ppl. Tomorow going to see Avensis D4D 2001 linea sol. Want to buy it if everything is ok.

The car is from Italy, made 120 000 km.

I never had a toyota and even diesel. (just in work we have some diesl skoda).

I had read about cluch problems. If the clutch is hard to press there is the first simptom to replace clutch. But how i could know how hard it should't be.

Another problem could be diesel pump. I dont know if i can see driving in town for few km (starting from cold or hot engine).

Would be very thankfull if you can give me more advices what to chech

I think the thing with the D4D is the Flywheel has problems rather then the gearbox itself which affects the petrol models.

I think almost all d4d have this prob in that shape so at one point or another you probably will too.

Do you thik all D4D avensis cars will have or had clutch problems? Maybe not all users had this problem...
