Corolla Meetings

yep its a good idea we as toyota owners dont do enuff meets we need to show our luvly machines off coz they r luvly :P

Very good idea, i have been to many Honda meets and it gives them a chance to discuss problems with their cars with other experienced people. We just need to figure out a suitable location. I live in London :)

A very good idea BUT I suspect that not that many people would actually turn up.

This is a problem with all meets - people say they will definitely be there then don't turn up. Take the last JAE (Japanese Auto Extravaganza) when the out of total TOC membership we had less than twenty cars turn up. We're talking about the biggest national Japanese car meet of the year. Admittedly the weather was exceptionally bad but If I could there from South Wales (I now drive a Toyota Corolla boat ) then most people anywhere else should have been able to get there.

this is why i never put my name down for these things as a definate, im usually jsut too lazy to travel 1/2 the time...as its usually after work and the only thing i want to do then is crack open a beer or 12 and put my feet up

although if at a good time of year and in an ideal location/lots of planning etc, i may get off my backside and stay sober long enough to turn up, even if my rolla is, quite frankly, a state (being lazy, the car has only been washed once since i got it 6months ago... :o )
