how funny is this, was looking for The Jam singing, Down In The Tube Station At Midnight when I came

across a tribute band sounding better live than the real thing. Just like a right good new wave concert, flying drinks,

glasses and a scuffle. Brilliant.

Me and my mate once seen a Jam tribute band called Eton Rifles in small pub. It was a great night, lots of fun but we were both deaf for days afterwards!

I might be getting a bit controversial here, but watching the news yesterday of the funeral of Vicky Hamilton I

had tears in my eyes. Along with Dinah McNichol and a few others this beautiful young scottish girls life was ended

by a person of such evil that words could not describe him. I am therefore posting this video in memory of Vicky,

Dinah and the others, god bless you and may you finally rest in peace.

To be honest Dave I think your blue machine looks quite stunning and I used to go for blue vehicles too. These days I feel the silver hides the dirt a bit better. :D . Maybe they should do "Salty road grime grey" as an option.

Anyway, You're into planes aren't you Dave? After getting a bit sideways to the runway a few weeks ago (business trip), I got vaguely interested in cross wind landings, so this one is for you.

SHCM, thanks for that, great stuff If you have ever landed in a cross wind you will know. How ? because

you will have came down with a BANG. If the pilot does not thump it down on to the runway there is a real danger it

will come back up again, if it does that your in the deep brown smelly stuff

Fuj, I think you should contact a record company, this thread would make a great compilation CD.

I looked down the runway once (out of the side window) in a Ryanair landing at Dublin and that was a bit scary. That 777 pilot was good though - he can almost do it backuds!!!

People say it's an easy job, just stick it in Auto - Pilot but when you see stuff like that you realise just how good and how skilled Pilot's are. They earn their money, with out a shadow of doubt.
