So, Radio 1 has decided to edit "Fairytale of New York" has it, in case it causes offence?

How ****** **** ******* **** ******ing stupid (that's the Torrets kicking in). If that's all some people have to worry about, maybe they should go and tackle some of the worlds more difficult problems.

Glad I'm too much of an old f*rt now to listen to the station.

It's not my favourite of Christmas songs, but I'm going to post it anyway now :P

You can come around to my mates on a Friday night when we put the world to rights. I've got the torrets thing going as well - it is almost unbelievable but these days it just doesn't surprise me.

I wouldn't listen to that cr@p station anyhow. Is there anyway of deleting it from my radio???

Yep got to agree R1 is total crap these days. We do have a good one over here though!! MANX RADIO quality.Saturday morning show called Carnaby Street has my Dad in raptures for his past, it,s just like Radio Caroline even down to the jingles and 60,s adverts

Don,t forget we had Caroline North off Ramsey Bay in it,s 60,s heydays

Guys, Radio 2 ROCKS, especially in the afternoon. Chris Evans, brilliant, Sally Traffic, Foxy and occasionally the master

himself, Mr Johnny Walker. Richard Allinson, and Steve Wright uses this thread to get his playlists. :D :D

It wouldn't surprise me. We've noticed in the past things (not just music) appearing on Steve Wright's show which have appeared earlier elsewhere and then he has the cheek to say it's copyright at the end. ;) You are going to have to set some kind of test or trap Dave :D

Common sense prevails for once but the numpty still wants his/her backside kicking for even considering it. For goodness sake what is the place coming to? I'll be boycotting Chatman next for using a lambswool mit! Can't we joke about anything for fear of somebody getting on their high horse? (can somebody pass me my dummy?)

Hey Clare, the IOM was on "eye in the sky" tonight. Looked good but didn't see a silver T180 ozzing about!

Agree with Dave....Radio 2 on my way home from work...Chris Evans is good, but I purely listen just for Fox's voice.... :drool: :drool: :drool:
