Sorry to have to contradict you, but Bruce Springsteen certainly has recorded this song.

It's track one on the Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. album, which was released back in 1973.

You can listen to it here: Springsteen - Blinded by the Light

(it's set to a distinctly odd slideshow, apparently from the Power Rangers tv show)

The fact that he recorded the track is as true in the UK as it is elsewhere! It seems that you actually wanted to say that the track has not been available on recordings available in the UK. That also isn't true now, since I just checked and I could buy the album on Amazon UK for less than six quid.

Anyway, as a 'peace offering' ;), here's a track from his new album Magic for you - Radio Nowhere
