How To Turn On/off The Alarm In My 1992 Corolla

hello,

Ive had my corolla for just over a month, but i cant work out how to turn on the alarm!!

I know it has an alarm (and a good one too!) because when i bought the car the seller showed me (but didnt tell me how to activate it!)

The user manual has no info about the alarm, ive noticed when i lock my car a small red light flashes, it says its the Toyota Security System.

Have you spoken to your local Toyota dealer or gone back to the previous owner as it was only one month ago that you bought it ?

im fairly sure it activates its self when you lock the doors mine does anyway id say its the same as yours

lock it with the window open ,then open the door from inside without using the key it self..it should set the alarm off....glyn
