First Accident In The Rolla!

Recently driving around was on my way back from work!! stopped to give way to oncoming traffic and before i could say more then F_CK

As i looked in my mirror i was smashed from behind by a Renault Kangoo!

Must say however that it felt just like a little nudge!! the corolla is a sound car inside when i stepped out to see the damage that was shocking as i felt nothing in the car the outside was near crippled!!

Back light had been smashed bumper off

the fuel was leaking from impact metal was rubbing against the tyres my rear door was crushed from impact and would not open.

However best of all it wasnt my fault my claims arent affected car should be back this thursday as its in repair and has been for around 2 weeks.

Suprisingly!! i had a few things changed on the car my exhaust system customly done and also my alloys changed.

I had the car recovered home as it wasnt driveable however would move. but there was major petrol smells and also burning rubber from metal scraping the tyres.

I forgot to inform my insurance about the exhaust and alloys! so i changed the alloys to the originals when i got back that was a headache!!

however the exhaust i could do nothing about!!

suprisingly good old tesco are getting it repaired by a company down the road from me who are approved toyota repairers and no one has said nothing and im picking my car up in 2 days! which is great they havent said nothing and nicely repaired it with no problems!

also as im only 18 i got given a brand new fiat bravo 1.4 and i can tell all that it is a great car to drive.

would definitely recommend to drive one extremely smooth, i didnt find it quicker then my corolla even my corolla being at stock the bravo was not faster but it is a joy to drive. You can change the steering to extremely light and it is great fun to drive and has a great punch of power at around the 40mph which is great and it has a 6 speed gear box which is great for motorway drives if you got a small litre car the engine isnt screeching in 5th at around 60!!. but i do think worth a look as i read up there is a 1.4 turbo model throwing out 150bhp!! have a look the new fiats seem great!! however cant wait to get my corolla back !!!!!!

sorry to hear bout your bump, but at least its sorted!!

oh, and the bravo turbo isnt a missile either, you have to keep it on the boil (little turbo), so you just sound like your trying to race everything. same for the punto grande 1.4 turbo. i'm waiting for the abarth version with a bigger turbo on it

my fiat of choice would be the panda 100hp. i can never stress enough how well built these things are and how reliable they are (and near enough 100 bhp for less than ten grand!!)

true the standard 1.4 bravo has a sluggish pick up in 1st and 2nd suprisingly it is really smooth though. i thought the corolla had a sluggish pick up but i am certain the fiat is much worse.

still definitely a nice car good fun to drive. looks like an aston martin if you look down on the front trust me!
