Help Fuel Problem

hi guys i have a 1993 k reg previa ive been having some problems with her for a couple of weeks now,when i come to traffick lights or a junction she stalls or is slow to pull away,but last night on the way home going up hill she stalled and i could' nt get it to start again it feels as though the fuel is not getting through i had to get the aa to ship me home can anyone please help, or maybe have an idea as to why it wont start, thanks for any help guys

I would check the fuel filter and fuel pump first
