How Much? 30k Service

HI

My Prius is due it's 30K service, so I rang to dealerships to ask a price for the service.

1st dealer.....£88.83 ok not bad I thought

2nd dealer ....£107 to £109. Said that I had received a quote at £88.83. Reply "OH".

30 minutes later the second dealer rang me to quote a price for the service......£153 , so I informed them of the previous price her colleague gave me, her reply " must be a deal she quoted"!

So told her about the first dealer quote and got a very sarcastic "what are they doing for that price", I replied a 30K service!

I hate dealerships! If I could guaranty that going to an independent Toyota garage would not invalidate my warranty, I would not look back!

I am just having my 30K service done and was quoted £113 at Toyota Hedge End in Southampton, by the way you can have your service done at an independant garage without invalidating your qarantee as long as they use Toyota parts, as I have had this done in the past.
