Hi,

On my new T-Sport there is a little rust on the brakes behind the alloys. Is this anything 2 worry about?

Also is it worth painting the brake callipers? I want them red, what do you think? is there any special paint?

I am not a chav I promise!

thanks

Mark.

the only time to worry about rust on your brakes is when they start crumbling.

there's paint you can get for your calipers, you can get a 2 stage, 1 is the paint the other is clear laquer.

just a one stage paint, and also some people recommend hammerite.

check out eBay, there's a few on there

speeding.co.uk sell them as do demon tweeks.

Painted break calipers are a cheap but very noticable mod, and go well with a nice wheel. Red goes well with most colours, but is too common in my opinion.

I got my paint from Halfrauds for just under a tenner, I got different kit for my older Yaris from Motorworld for about £20, which included break cleaner and a brush.
