Does the brace go across the parcelshelf area?

I'd love to get one but can't spare not being able to use the full boot if i lower the seats.

Alternative is a rear-anti rollbar which is on my list of mods and fits under the car to the bottom mounts.

Any chance of a picture?

Cheers

Rear strut bar goes accross the boot fitted on top of the rear struts guess on corolla its below the parcel shelf so that u can still have a parcel shelf, well it was with 2 other cars i owned, 1 problemo u need to cut a hole on both side the rear trim! anti roll bar goes under the car, a corolla - well most modern cars (i think!lol) has them standard but u get upgraded replacement ones which is thicker that makes a difference to cornering !

Yeah i didn't like the idea of cutting any trim to be honest. Thats why the uprated anti-roll bars would be good. But i'm hopeful i may end up finding a rear strut brace which sits along the boot of the car, i don't mind not being able to take the spare wheel out quickly, worst case scenario is, i'll carry the correct size socket set and if ever needed to change tyre i'd take the rear rubber boot liner and carpet mat out, undo 4-6 bolts take the brace out and then reverse the process to put the old one back. 5-10mins max. It may look odd on the side of a motorway though. :D Like i couldn't wait to get home to mod my car, had to stop on the busy motorway and mod right there and then. :P

I have seen a picture of this on someone else's cts before but I think they were from spain (was definitely not the UK iirc) and as such I thought it was a feature of the European market that we missed out on, like facelift 5 door CTS and 5 doort compressors etc. When I asked about this a few months ago, I didn't get much of a response either.

Also I would have thought that something that low wouldn't provide too much of an improvement compared to one mounted at the parcel shely level.

The TRD rear strut brace actually stiffens up the rear by 75% or 85% as i read somewhere i think the nugen site. The Corolla E12 one was by far the strongest of all the ones they sold. That goes along the top of the mounts. The other models ones only stiffened up by 40-50% (levins etc..)

So i am thinking if it's lower then it's not going to stiffen up as much as 85% but still should get a very noticeable improvement. Still better than having nothing at the back. Car doesn't feel as balanced as it should as i only have a front brace for now.
